PRIDE COMES BEFORE A FALL..

...it's that IN YOUR FACE time of year.

I HAVE THE INCONTROVERTIBLE AND IRREMOVABLE,not to say, UNCONTESTABLE HUMAN RIGHT to have SEX with WHOEVER I WANT.

Hey! Where’ve you all gone?

This is because I live in the freedom of a Western liberal democracy where I am free not only to do WHATEVER I WANT but I can say WHATEVER I WANT with no shame,stigma or penalty imposed upon me as would happen if I lived under a repressive regime. Aren't I the lucky one!

The irritating minor flaw in this wonderful range of RIGHTS that are my Western liberal birthright is that EVERYONE else has the right to NOT HAVE SEX WITH ME. That's a SERIOUS MATTER when you live in a society that priorities SEXUAL VALIDITY as the sole CRITERION of social acceptability…

…and sees or PORTRAYS non-sexually active people as DANGEROUS and SINISTER.

BUT you object, - what about children and senior citizens. No one expects them to be sexually active. But somehow sexual VALIDITY is present in people whether sexual ACTIVITY is present or not. It's true that children ARE BORN with sexuality in their being but to discuss this needs a whole separate post and maybe a fast getaway car on standby. As for Old People well if you've ever heard the cheeky old grannies flirting and joshing with the likely lad young bus driver,those Old People and old men as well are recognizably SEXUALLY VALID even if they don't engage in any sexual activity. There is a lot more to SEX than DOING IT and people inherently know that. It is just our stupid media that tries to kid us otherwise. They have a lot less power over our deeper minds now we can ignore them the way we could not in past decades. In June 2024 I got on a bus from my home intending to go just 3 stops,it was mid-morning but the bus was packed tight with people. With families. A Mum and a Dad,you must know the sort of Mum and Dad I mean,nice ordinary working people,he drives a white van,she does shifts at Tesco,they've got a mortgage and live in a house that's just outside the city boundary,it's in a white flight zone (shhh,don't say it),and they are nice people. Notice how all serial killers once revealed and unmasked turn out to be nice people. I'm serious. This average normie Mum and Dad have got their two sweet cute kiddies with them and they have a baby in a pram. They were (to mix up my tenses) I realised all on the bus going into town to be at the big Pride Festival in the Central Park of the city. They were going to have a picnic on the grass,in the sunshine and let the kiddies run about and all be entertained by the funny painted up people who were like clowns,fun for the kiddies. You can see that Dad is one of those who inveighs at Jimmy Savile and also now probably Russell Brand. He knows what's wright and RONG! He goes dahn the pub every Sunday to watch the footie with his mates then round his Nans for a Sunday roast. He's a true Briton wiv Bri’ ish values. So he and his weasel faced wife are going to happily disport themselves among sexual predators. Finding this situation puzzling I asked the young man into whose chest I was pressed - the bus was that packed - what was this Pride thing about. He looked baffled. His girlfriend looked suspicious. After some obvious thought he said it was about liking everybody and accepting that everybody was different. Which I guess is as bland an answer as any. No one on that bus seemed to have any idea of the concept of “GAY” being linked to any sort of sexual activity. Well got to protect the kiddies. The atmosphere was the closest I've ever experienced to how it must have been at an 18th century public hanging,jolly good fun all round and a great day out for all the family.
