MARY,MARY,QUITE CONTRARY...

JANE,JANE,QUITE A PAIN!

So,I decide to stay off Substack for a few days,and an hour later….. my title is from an old nursery rhyme,my friend Mary is really not contrary at all - but she is original. I however,am a Pain but my name doesn't fit the first rhyme. First,on my radio (yet again) I hear the words,said by whom I didn't catch,that our current political administration is considering just looking at the idea of reintroducing the Death Penalty. Now this is just what I've said for months. I was pointing out the significant fact that Sir Starmer has sent a delegation of his folk to Texas to find out how they do Prison so we can ‘improve’ our Prison system. When the allied political administrations + controlled media start merely putting long forgotten,or at least disused concepts AND WORDS into the public discourse then you know something is brewing. The start of it is to ‘normalize” words or concepts that have not even been in our mindset. It's a policy that works. It's insidious. So the word CONSCRIPTION is back in circulation. And the two words DEATH PENALTY are also “out of the box”. That's the start.
